Evidence-based therapy
that works.

Every person is different. That's why I offer multiple therapeutic approaches and create a personalised plan based on your unique needs, goals, and what you're experiencing.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. It works by helping the brain process stuck memories so they no longer feel overwhelming.

  • CBT helps you identify and shift thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and stress. It's practical, structured, and one of the most well-researched approaches in mental health care.

  • Dialectical Behaviour therapy designed to treat intense emotions, borderline personality disorder (BPD), self-harm, and interpersonal challenges. It focuses on balancing "acceptance" of oneself with "change-oriented" skills, commonly teaching mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness

  • Unlike traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which often focuses on changing or disputing negative thoughts, ACT focuses on changing your relationship with your thoughts and feelings. The goal is not to feel better, but to get better at feeling, thereby reducing the control that unpleasant thoughts have on behavior

  • Neuroaffirming care takes into account a person's neurodivergence, and how their brain functions differently from the neurotypical norm; it celebrates those differences while still respecting struggles and providing assistance.

  • "When we deny our stories they define us. When we own our stories we get to write a brave new ending."

    Brene Brown

  • "The essence of trauma, at its purest level, is disconnect from the self"

    Gabor Maté

  • "Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health"

    Bessel van der Kolk
